Another city that is close by and that is definitely worth exploring is York City.
York City has a stunning cathedral and it boasts many award-winning attractions such as the world's best railway museum, and the finest UK Viking attraction, which will surprise, inspire and stimulate you.

However, smaller gems like medieval guild halls, Georgian town houses, National Trust and English Heritage properties are thick under foot. There is no doubt you will enjoy discovering the City of York's many attractions.
